To Lay Me Down is just quintessential Jerry. Heartbreakingly lovely with a subtle bite. A really beuatiful thing.

No rating because I haven't heard the entire show but I just had to comment after hearing this Let It Grow. I came upon this while browsing CM's latest
...
contributions. Went straight for TLMD, which was quite sweet, but it was the LIG that really knocked my socks off. The band is tight and surges powerfully while Jerry is ripping melodic lines all over the fretboard - explosive and overflowing with creativity!

This was one of my favorite tapes about 25 years ago. Superior versions of Rooster, Deep Elum, LLRain and Deal (and I rarely enjoy Rooster or LLR). Quite
...
possibly the best-ever To Lay Me Down, too.
Impeccable recording. Thanks Bob and Charlie!
